DESCRIPTION:The Saskatchewan Beekeepers’ Development Commission and the Ministry of Agriculture are pleased to offer the second one-day introductory queen rearing course in the Regina area.  Come and enjoy this one day course which enables participants to experience both theory and practical field experience.  Instructors include members of Saskatchewan Beekeepers Development Commission and the Saskatchewan Minister of Agriculture staff. \nAt least two years of beekeeping experience required! \nWorkshop lessons include: \n\nBasic Queen Biology\nMethods of queen rearing\nGrafting\n\nDate & Location: (location map s will be posted to the website) \n\nRegina area – May 29\, 2020 (mail in registration deadline May 25\, 2020)\n\nFees:  $150.00 includes cost of lunch and snacks\, one Chinese grafting tool\, manual: “Queen Rearing Essentials ” by Lawrence Connor.  Note: If require\, with an additional $35.00  for lunch and snacks\, one child under the age of 12 may accompany you to the course \nQueen Rearing Course Advertisement 2020.docx (1)
