DESCRIPTION:The Saskatchewan Beekeepers Development Commission\, Saskatoon Bee Club  and the Saskatchewan Minister Of Agriculture are pleased to offer the ninth annual two-day beginner beekeeping course in the Clavet area.  Come and enjoy this two day educational course which enables both theory and practical field experience.  Instructors include members of Saskatchewan Beekeepers Development Commission\, Saskatchewan Ministry of Agriculture Staff and experienced beekeepers from the Saskatoon Bee Club.  All experience are welcomed! \nWorkshop lessons include: \n\n Standard beekeeping equipment\nHoney bee colony assessments\nBasic bee biology\nSeasonal beekeeping responsibilities\nExtracting and processing honey\nDisease and pest management practices\nAs much bee information as we can teach in two days!\n\nFee includes cost of lunch both days and two manuals:  “Honey Bee Disease  and Pests” – 3rd edition and Beekeeping in Western Canada. \nRegistration form  – Saskatoon Beginner Beekeeping Registration Form 2020[15266]
