Strategic Plan
The beekeeping Industry has a long-distinguished history in the province of Saskatchewan. The migration of honeybees into Saskatchewan coincides with the coming of the first settlers from Eastern Canada and the United States.
The Board of the SBDC is dedicated to promoting the beekeeping industry and honey bee health with integrity and leadership. Over the past year the Board of Directors has generated new interest in the beekeeping industry through its leadership and provincial marketing program. With this renewed enthusiasm and a brand new slate of directors, the Commission is working towards establishing a clear vision on their value in this industry, both nationally and internationally.
