Queen Rearing Course 2020 – CANCELLED

The Saskatchewan Beekeepers’ Development Commission and the Ministry of Agriculture are pleased to offer the second one-day introductory queen rearing course in the Regina area.  Come and enjoy this one day course which enables participants to experience both theory and practical field experience.  Instructors include members of Saskatchewan Beekeepers Development Commission and the Saskatchewan Minister of Agriculture staff.

At least two years of beekeeping experience required!

Workshop lessons include:

  • Basic Queen Biology
  • Methods of queen rearing
  • Grafting

  • Regina area – May 29, 2020 (mail in registration deadline May 25, 2020)

Fees:  $150.00 includes cost of lunch and snacks, one Chinese grafting tool, manual: “Queen Rearing Essentials ” by Lawrence Connor.  Note: If require, with an additional $35.00  for lunch and snacks, one child under the age of 12 may accompany you to the course
