2025 Intermediate Practical Beekeeping Workshop

The Intermediate Practical Workshop is intended for beekeepers with less than 10 season or less of beekeeping. This workshop will be one full day in the field that will cover topics more relevant to bee management. Workshop activities will feature hands on, interactive practical exercises. Participants will undertake several hive manipulations and hive inspections. You will be working in an active bee yard, come prepared with the necessary protective equipment.
In the event of inclement weather, the class will be rescheduled. Class size is limited to 15 people

- Reading the Hive
- Nuc Production/Swarm Management
- Advance Disease & Pest Management
- Seasonal Management
- Open Discussion – “What went Wrong
